British citizenship

Regardless of your situation, we will be happy to assist you in obtaining British citizenship. Whether you are applying from within the UK or abroad, and regardless of how complicated it is, we will make sure you have the best opportunity of being accepted as soon as possible.

Applying for British citizenship can be done by registration or naturalisation.

British citizenship is always obtained through registration for minors. In certain circumstances, registration is by entitlement; in others, it is up to the Home Office’s discretion.

Citizenship for adults is always obtained by naturalisation if they were not born in the UK and do not have British ancestry. To be eligible for naturalisation:

  • You are 18 or over
  • You must be of sound mind
  • You intend to make the UK your permanent home
  • You must meet the B1 level English language proficiency standard and pass the Life in the UK exam
  • You must hold indefinite leave to remain
  • Meet the legal requirements in place regarding absences from the UK and good character

In certain situations, even if you do not meet all legal requirements, the decision-maker may nonetheless choose to grant you British citizenship. The use of discretion is subject to complex laws. Discretion may be required in some situations, but it may not in others depending on your unique and compelling circumstances.

We advise you to schedule an appointment to go over the current policy and what evidence you will need to support your case if your case is complex and relies on the use of discretion.

When you instruct us, the following services are guaranteed:

  •  Confirmation of your eligibility for citizenship and a discussion of any possible issues
  •  Careful review of your documents
  •  Submitting your application along with the necessary supporting documentation and a cover letter outlining how the application satisfies all legal requirements
  •  Making an appointment for biometrics
  •  Any follow-up correspondence with the Home Office until a decision is made

If you wish to make an application, please contact us via phone/email/online form or chat with us to discuss your case
